What is STC-15?

STC-15 is an orally bioavailable inhibitor of METTL3, the RNA methyltransferase that deposits N-6-methyladenosine (m6A) on mRNA and lncRNA. By blocking METTL3, it reduces m6A marks, which triggers double-stranded RNA formation, interferon signaling and activation of anti-tumor T cells. It is being studied in solid tumors, including sarcoma, leiomyosarcoma and dedifferentiated liposarcoma.
